Fort Worth ISD is seeking the input of stakeholders on facilities master planning. Participants will be asked to attend four meetings throughout the 2024-25 school year. The first meeting will take place on Monday, October 7. Please note that all meetings will be held in person and no virtual options will be available. Task Force members will help shape the future of FWISD facilities by providing valuable input.

The district is looking for all kinds of input from across the Fort Worth ISD community and you are encouraged to apply today. Applications can be accessed below. Responses are due by Wednesday, September 25.

During his read aloud today, Mr. Menchaca talked about the importance of sharing. Students were then able to talk about times they had to share with their siblings. Then, they applied their learning as they went to their interest areas! PK is fun! Durante su tiempo de lectura, Mr. Menchaca habló sobre la importancia de compartir. Luego, los estudiantes pudieron hablar sobre los momentos que tuvieron que compartir con sus hermanos. Luego, ¡aplicaron su aprendizaje mientras estaban en sus áreas de interés! ¡PK es divertido!

Ms. Magness incorporates structured turn-and-talks where her 3rd graders learn to be active speakers and active listeners. She monitors their learning by coming around to listen and ask guiding questions as they discuss their responses! Thank you to TCU – Texas Christian University and the TCU Interfraternity Council for coming to George C. Clarke today to volunteer and work on various projects throughout the school. She works hard everyday to ensure our students have the supports that they need to understand and master the learning. Through her small group instruction, students are able to make significant growth throughout the year! ¡Feliz cumpleaños, Mrs. Nors! Mrs. Nors es una de nuestras increíbles maestras de educación especial. Mrs. Santos' 5th grade students talk about the origin of their name and write about a time it was mispronounced. It was great to learn more about their stories and the power of our names! Thank you Mrs. Santos for creating these learning opportunities for our students. Students in Ms. Shannon's 2nd grade class collaborate and use their 100s chart as they solve addition and subtraction problems. She reminds them that they can do hard things!
