Our Story
Compassion Serve Day (Formerly held at Compassion Park) is a weekend outreach founded by www.WhenWeLove.org to bring the church and community together to serve people experiencing homelessness. Our facility, The Transfer Center (Flag Building), provides churches, community organizations, small groups, business groups and individuals the opportunity to serve the homeless in an organized, fun and safe environment. "I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me" ~Matt 25:35-36
www.compassionofchristorg.org has managed the weekend ministries for these events for the past few years. Pastor Gary Mitchell and his team faithfully serve in both Fort Worth and Dallas each weekend.
