Join Koom Tes Tiv Thaiv, who is partnering with Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) and The Fresno Center to offer free health workshops focused on educating the community about hypertension (high blood pressure) and hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)

The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) is hosting their Leadership Academy (RLA) in Fresno, this coming July 19 - 20.
It is a two-day leadership training event for community stakeholders, individuals seeking to run for public office, current elected officials, and those with an interest in policymaking or social justice. The Fresno RLA will focus on individuals interested in pursuing elected positions in the states of the Fresno Greater Area.

A free & fun family literacy event, open to the public, held at the famed and historic Storyland Playland. There will be games, giveaways, raffles, and entertainment while we expose families to different books, community resources, and reading for entertainment, education, and empowerment. Not only will families be exposed to a wealth of resources on that one day, but they will be able to take advantage of the programs each participating organization offers for the summer and beyond.

Registration is opened for Stone Soup Fresno Learn Hmong, a year - round after school enrichment program for 1st - 8th graders. Our students are immersed in cultural activities with the goal of learning how to read, write, and speak in Hmong.
Our summer session will begin June 10 - July 26, Monday - Friday (3 pm - 5 pm).
Fee:
- $100 for child #1
- $50 for child #2
- $50 for child #3
- Free for child #4+

The objective of the event is to share information about the child development permits and different career opportunities in the field with college students, recent graduates, and individuals interested in the field.
Participants will have the opportunity to have their transcript reviewed by Credential Analysts from the Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools to see what permits they qualify for.
