Let's have a great Fall semester!
Goals: Crushed! 🤩 In the 2023-2024 school year, our numerous programs and service-learning courses dedicated thousands of hours to their communities.
The Richter Center is the hub for all things service and learning at Fresno State. This year, we helped 98 community benefit organizations connect with students during our 2 Community Service Opportunities Fairs.
In the process of engaging students to volunteer, we proudly awarded $1,648,484 in scholarships and work-study to 262 students. The 88,474 hours completed by these students earned them financial support toward their education. ❤️
Thank you Bulldogs for an excellent year! 🐾 To learn more about the 1.4 million hours served and our programs, click here: https://bit.ly/4cpn2ti
The numbers are in! We are proud to present the 2023-2024 annual report that showcases the service hours completed during the academic school year.
Fresno State has completed over 1.4 millions service hours, totaling a $57.2 million economic impact on our community.
The university is responsible for approximately half of the total completed hours produced by California State University. Through numerous Richter Center programs and help from our generous students, faculty and staff, we want to congratulate each of you for this great achievement.
At Fresno State, service-learning is one form of community service that puts academics into action. With a record breaking 198 service-learning classes offered last year, students served over 121,000 hours.

Thank you to all the great volunteers at our distribution today! We had help from Trinity Lutheran Church, Clovis West & Clovis North Key Club, Fresno State students, Alpha Pi Sigma, community members, Embarc, and Girl Scout Troop #2579.
