🌟 Today was a genuinely heartwarming day! We had the honor of giving a wheelchair to the wonderful Ernedina, a kind and inspiring elderly lady in our community. Her smile when she received it was priceless. This wheelchair will help her regain mobility and independence, allowing her to enjoy life to the fullest. Let’s continue to support and uplift each other. Together, we can make a difference! ❤️

Every year, they proudly support local FFA and 4-H Club students by participating in their livestock projects. The Disaster Relief Center at Catholic Charities was thrilled to be invited to Pleasant View Elementary School District's 2024 Summer Night Light event this past Friday!

This year's theme, Family Literacy, perfectly aligns with our mission to empower families. The Disaster Relief Center at Catholic Charities focuses on disaster case management. It works alongside survivors of natural disasters to create a recovery plan while connecting them with available resources for an achievable and successful long-term recovery. We can also help with immediate needs, including food assistance, rental assistance, temporary housing, clothing assistance, and access to functional needs.

In addition to providing clothing assistance to families in need, the Thrift Store is also open to the public and has a variety of offerings for any local shopper. From furniture to household items to décor and more – we’ve got it all.

All proceeds from the Thrift Store go directly to support the Social Service Programs of Catholic Charities that assist more than 200,000 people annually.

Donations of gently used clothing, household goods and furniture are greatly needed and appreciated. If you have a donation of furniture, please call us at (559) 237-0851 to request a pickup.
