Texas Primary Care Clinic in Frisco is looking for a bright and cheerful candidate for the position of front office receptionist.

The position is full time and responsibilities include;
* Scheduling patient appointments.
* Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
* Checking patients in and out of the clinic which includes an explanation of benefits, collection of co-payments, and having patients complete their paperwork.
* Answering incoming telephone lines and directing calls to the appropriate party.
* Scan patient demographics, identifications, and medical insurance into the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
* Must have worked on Eclinicalworks.
* Other duties as assigned by the providers.

Good Thursday morning! Freezing drizzle and freezing rain will be widespread this morning making for icy and hazardous travel areawide. The good news is that the precipitation ends from west to east midday and into the afternoon hours with a slow improvement to travel conditions thereafter. Even if temps don't get above freezing this afternoon in your area, we will still see some erosion of the ice as it will slowly dry up once precipitation stops. The main responsibility of a back-office MA is to provide direct clinical support to the Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner in the examination and treatment of patients.

Job Responsibilities -

The Medical Assistant (MA) essential duties and responsibilities include:

Performing intakes and initial vital signs
Collection and processing of lab specimens
Prepare and stock exam rooms and order supplies as needed.
Perform EKG's, Spirometry
Perform basic laboratory testing
Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
Obtain medication prior to authorizations and handle refill requests as directed by physicians
Drawing blood
Drug testing
Other duties as assigned.
