Please join CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. in honoring Board Treasurer Frank Williams on his retirement after 31 years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law.

Mr. Williams is renowned for his work in the areas of prosecuting human trafficking cases, particularly those involving children victims. In recognition of his work Mr. Williams was recognized with a Rise Award at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the North Central Florida Human Trafficking Task Force.

In addition to his exemplary history as a prosecutor, Mr. Williams was highly decorated and honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with the rank of Major, having previously been a Captain in active service.

At Mr. Williams’ request, contributions will be made in the memory of Melody Cooper, a 10 year old child sexually assaulted and murdered in 1992, whose killer was convicted and executed for those brutal crimes. Mr. Williams was the prosecutor in the Melody Cooper case, and considers her memory a central motivation for his public service.

Melanie comes to CDS after a US Navy career, and then two college degrees - one in photography and a second in business. She decided to join CDS because of her desire to help children, youth, families, and communities impacted by truancy, runaway conduct, ungovernability (persistent defiance), homelessness, and trafficking victimization. Melanie’s ❤️ and inclinations are in just the right place with the CDS Team.
