The Sign of the Buck is pleased to announce that Josh Fidler (right) will be leading our culinary dream team along with Chef de Cuisine David Bortner and Sous Chef Natalie Altman. This brand-new entrée, Scallops Provençal—served over sweet corn polenta with tomato confit, spinach, and a white wine garlic sauce—is just a glimmer of what’s to come. Stay tuned!

Before you head to the to see the Western classic “True Grit,” pop by the Buck to try the Tough Cookie, featuring Shanky’s Whip, Trader Vic’s White Chocolate Liqueur, and chai concentrate. Though John Wayne was the big star of the film, the real standout was his costar who played Mattie Ross, a plucky 14-year old girl avenging her father’s death on the frontier.

The light and refreshing Yellow Hill—made with Hidden Still vodka, cantaloupe, ginger liqueur, and mint simple syrup; and

The Fairview, a tried-and-true summer favorite featuring tequila, watermelon, ancho chili shrub, and agave, and rimmed with chili salt

It's Bounty of the County time! We use local produce whenever we can, but this week offers a special opportunity to give back to the community.

We’ve incorporated peaches, zucchini, carrots, watermelon, cantaloupe, and corn from Adams County farms into five delectable dishes. Come in anytime between now and Sunday, 8/18, to sample them while supplies last!

The best part? A portion of the proceeds will fund research to ensure our fruit growers have a bright future ahead.
