Join us tonight for the Los Angeles premiere of A Decent Home, an award-winning documentary that addresses urgent issues of class and economic inequity through the lens of mobile home park residents who can't afford housing anywhere else.
The film asks, Who are we becoming as Americans? - as private equity firms and wealthy investors buy up parks making sky-high returns on their investments while squeezing every last penny out of the mobile home owners who lack rights and protections under local and state laws and must pay rent for the land they live on. As seen on PBS.
A Q&A featuring Sara Terry, the film's Director/Producer/Writer/Cinematographer, will immediately follow the screening.

Drinks and conversations were flowing; emcee Mark DeCarlo kept the laughs coming; and the acceptance speeches had us all feeling the power and emotional impact of this beautiful medium of storytelling that the Glendale International Film Festival celebrates.
