Meet Kirsten Kuhns, the new Las Brisas 4th grade ELA & SS teacher!

Growing up Kirsten wanted to be a teacher! 👩🏼‍🏫 She has worked as an educator for four years, and has earned her BS in Elementary & Special Education and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Kirsten enjoys traveling, reading, skiing and spending time with her puppy, Mushu. She went to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and ever since has loved the Olympics! Meet Tiffani Morrison, the new Las Brisas Dean of Students!

Tiffani earned her Bachelors and Masters in Education Administration from GCU, and has worked as an educator for ten years. She loves to spend time with family and enjoys time by the lake. Tiffani grew up in Glendale and is a big Diamondbacks fan, she used to be a rally back for the Arizona Diamondbacks! Welcome to Las Brisas, Tiffani! 💜🦉

Meet the Las Brisas PTSA 2024-25 Board Members! 💜

Kjersten Dewey is our returning President, this will be her fourth and final year as President. Kjersten and her husband have two Las Brisas Owls: Jonas (grade 5) and Madeline (grade 2). She loves sweets, board games, and home organization. Kjersten has a passion for supporting students and teachers, and is excited for another amazing year serving the Las Brisas Community!

Kelly Alden has two children at Las Brisas: 5th grader, Owen, and 2nd grader, Evelyn. This is her second year as Vice President and her third year as a member of the PTSA. She is a former middle school teacher and now works full-time for a non-profit supporting novice teachers in Title 1 schools. Kelly loves reading, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Krysten Ousley has been happily married for 12 years and has two daughters; Aubriana going into 5th grade and Makenzie going into Kindergarten. As a family they love to do all things outdoor-camp, SxS riding, paddle boarding, etc! Krysten enjoys being part of PTSA because it helps her be involved with all students and staff, and she loves seeing the joy PTSA is able to bring to both students and staff throughout the year.

Karen Corley is starting her first year as Secretary of the PTSA. She has been a Las Brisas mom for 7 years and currently has a 3rd grade owl! She enjoys spending time with her family and community and is looking forward to a great year serving on the board!
