"Kate's Treasure House experience is not unlike those her siblings had when they went off to college," said Rock, Kate's father and dedicated Treasure House board member. "The lifelong relationships they built in their dormitories is what Kate and the other residents experience at Treasure House. And, they are able to do it safely in a 24-hour supervised environment that encourages them to be everything they can be."
When Kate (Left) graduated high school in 2008, her parents worried she'd be confined to her room and reliant on them for social interaction. Thankfully, in 2018, she became one of the first residents of Treasure House. Since then, she's made great strides in her independence, securing full-time employment and forming strong personal relationships.
