Detroit Catholic Young Adults invites all Detroit young adults to other young adults from across Michigan for a weekend of hiking, rafting, relaxation, camping, and prayer at Cheboygan State Park on Lake Huron, on July 22-24. After enjoying a beautiful 7 mile hike through the North Central Trail, you’ll have the chance to raft on the Sturgeon River, and spend time celebrating Mass and praying at your pilgrimage destination: The Shrine of the Cross in the Woods.
Anyone between the ages of 18 and 39 can attend for the price of $85, which includes two nights camping, hiking, rafting, meals and Mass.

Every first Sunday of the month, join us for a sensory-friendly Mass at St John Paul II Parish in Cedar Springs. The next Mass is Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
This Mass is great for children and adults who have autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We encourage families and individuals to get up and move if needed, to bring alternative seating, fidgets or noise cancelling headphones, and to participate in the liturgy just as they are.
Last night, parish ministers from around the diocese gathered at Hennessey's Pub at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Muskegon for our 2nd annual Parish Leader Seasonal Gathering.
We gathered for fellowship, enjoyed a fun game of trivia, and karaoke. Thank you to our ministers for joining us!
Catholics around the diocese are invited to participate in the annual Our Lady of Guadalupe procession on Monday, December 11. Pilgrims will gather at 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish located at 101 Hall St. SE in Grand Rapids and will depart together in procession to the Shrine of St. Francis Xavier and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at approximately 6:00 PM. (a 30-40 minute walk). Each person is asked to bring an LED light/candle and to dress according to the weather forecast. Mark your calendars! A relic of St. Jude is coming to the United States from Italy for the first time and is coming to the Diocese of Grand Rapids! This first-class relic, a piece of his arm, will be visiting Sacred Heart Church in Grand Rapids on October 9, 2023. Veneration of the relic will begin at 1 p.m. and a Mass will be celebrated in honor of St. Jude at 7 p.m.

Women from across Michigan are invited to come together to focus on their faith and experience the fellowship of sisterhood in Christ Jesus for the Michigan Catholic Women's Conference Throughout the day, women will be encouraged and inspired to ignite their spirits and grow their faith by hearing from Catholic speakers, engaging in praise and worship music, and celebrating holy Mass with our bishops. The conference will be held at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan on October 21, 2023.

The Office of Hispanic Ministry is offering catechetical workshops for catechists, volunteers, and parishioners in the diverse ministries in parishes with Hispanic Ministry.
The workshops will held monthly from September 2023 to April 2024 at Cathedral Square Center from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and will be facilitated by Sr. Maricela Martinez, CCVI in Spanish.

Students entering grades 6-8 are invited to join WCHS on July 27 from 6-7:30 p.m. for an evening of worship where they can participate in adoration with other students from across the diocese! .
