We welcome Rev. Christy Carlin Knetsch to preach on Sunday. Inspiring others to know that in Christ the past does not have to determine the future is the mission statement that has guided the career of Rev. Carlin Knetsch. Each day she has lived this out as the Executive Director of New City Kids and as a minister at Madison Church: South Hill Campus. A graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, she and her husband Brad are raising their four children.
Chip and Tracy George are both originally from West Michigan and graduates of Hope and Calvin College (respectively). They have a daughter in 7th grade and a son in 4th grade. They are very excited to immerse themselves in the Mayflower Church community.

Mayflower staff spent the morning together learning about each other's talents and strengths and how to best utilize these gifts to most effectively serve as a team. Thank you, Donna Gardner, for facilitating the morning retreat!
Mayflower partners with in our mission of community outreach. This year Upcycle Bikes partnered with to provide bikes for their clients in need of a reliable mode of transportation. The bikes allow individuals to maintain employment and build stability.
The woman pictured recently arrived in Grand Rapids from Mexico, and transportation independence was a priority for her. She did not have a family support network, and it will take some time for her to get a driver's license. She was overjoyed with the independence and freedom that her new bike will provide, and she feels much more confident in her ability to get to work.
Upcycle Bikes thanks everyone at The Source for supporting local employees during challenging times. Providing bikes to those in need is how we support economic development across our community.
Join us on Sunday for worship led by Rev. Ruth Bell Olsson.
We look forward to celebrating two baptisms!
