HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP IS BACK SEPTEMBER 17! 😃😃 The Where U At? Urban Youth Conference is a weekend-long conference for high school students (ages 14-19) and their leaders to get away and spend time with God and their friends. This event is meant to stretch, heal, and care for the hearts, souls, and faith of each participant.

The goal is to be REAL and authentic about our process and our growth with God realizing that our authenticity about our journey is what gives God the most glory. There's no shame in an area that's surrendered.

The church IS PEOPLE.
Being hurt by the subconscious or conscious words/ behaviors of people in a body of believers or a person in authority within a body of believers can be painful.
People who use this statement often, have one or more injuries so real to them that they are having a hard time seeing seeing Jesus anymore. Whether they admit it or not, they're often looking for a reason to stick with Jesus through the pain. Being met with a rebuke, dismissal, or challenge usually doesn't e courage someone to draw near.
Let's not detach ourselves from the responsibility we have in Christ to one another as ONE BODY. The harm done, may not be committed by "you", but as ONE BODY we should share the opportunity to show compassion, empathy, and pursue healing with the hurting among us. If you don't know where to start, start with this:
"The Church hurt you, and I'm sorry."
