August is here, meaning our One Baptism event at Camp Geneva is coming soon! Join us on Sunday, August 18, as we celebrate those who are being baptized. Everyone is invited to this fantastic event!

Here is the schedule for the day:
2:30pm: Grounds open
2:30-3:00pm: Check-in for those being baptized at the pavilion (on the south end of camp)
3:00pm: Worship in the ARC
4:00pm: Baptisms in Lake Michigan
5-7:00pm: Beach, pool, and food trucks open

This evening, 6pm, we're grillling burgers and hot dogs. We're cracking open fantastic drinks, and then sinking into a conversation around what love does in us and through us. Leaning into how we experience growth. And some thoughts on parenting our kids toward purpose and meaning. All are welcome...

Ok, here we go! Wednesday evening, we're leaning into "Questions from the Crowd." What do we do with all the laws and rules in the Bible? And is the Old Testament even relevant for us today? What does it even mean to love God? And what does it look like to raise our kids "in the faith?"

We'll be grilling burgers and hot dogs, providing craft drinks on ice, and then sinking into the conversation. All are welcome!

Boardwalk Subs dinner, tasty drinks, and a conversation about Heaven and Hell. Bring a camping or beach chair and let's giddy up!

When you hear the word Heaven, what comes to mind? How about the word Hell? Whatever pictures, images, or ideas came to mind, where did you get them from? Were you taught to think a specific way about them? Are the ideas and pictures from movies or books?

We think a conversation around these two words is much more relevant and interesting than the religious memes, tracts, and rhetoric offer.

Wow! That's a wrap on our second annual Love Walker Action Week!!!

What an amazingly joyous time it was loving our city with such wonderful people! Tonight, while enjoying Walker's Summer concert series, we were able to pack 30 care packages for un-housed members of our community.

Thank you thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all the ways you !

Remember, THIS SUNDAY, following the gathering, we will celebrate at 3 Mile Project with lunch and alllll the fun 3MP has to offer! Can't wait to see you there!

Night 3 of Love Walker Action Week: a little rain, a lot of weeds, and a TON of love for Walker!!! 😍 Thanks to this hardworking, amazing crew!

Tomorrow night is our last night! We will meet at Walker Community Park at 6pm. The concert begins at 6:30, so we will have a spot on the lawn where we will be packing care packages for our un-housed neighbors while enjoying the music!

We are grateful for the conversation yesterday around Faith and Science. How did you find our time together?

We will continue this Sunday with another rather massive conversation around the question, "Why did Jesus have to die?"

And don't forget that this evening brings us day one of Love Walker Action Week! We'll be meeting at Walker Community Park at 6pm.

This Sunday we jump into a conversation around Faith and Science. Are they at odds? Do I have to choose one or the other? Or maybe another way to phrase this is, "Do I have to turn off my brain in order to be a Christian?" I'm just asking for a friend.
