Nestled in a beautiful valley in the Sierra Nevada foothills, just a short drive from Sequoia National Park, Saint Nicholas Ranch hosts three sessions of summer camp for Orthodox Youth! To ensure the most meaningful experience for all, the importance of understanding mental health is essential! The Mental Health Foundation led a day retreat with camp Staff and Administration- equipping them with the be nice. action plan. Camp can be the onset of times when youth may begin conversations about their mental health. The be nice. action plan empowers camp staff to broaden the skills and passion that they have for youth development, and to strengthen the camp community to include upstream, mid and downstream mental health awareness and action!
