What an incredible weekend of events featuring South Carolina’s own and his professor at the University of Michigan, Dr. Louise Toppin. We had a fascinating panel discussion on Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges on Saturday afternoon. That evening, we heard a thrilling concert that situated spirituals and composers of color, including Chevalier, as he is commonly called, alongside their European contemporaries. Thank you to all who attended! We are excited to share our plans for the next season soon.

A few pictures from our lovely Christmas concert with the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra last night. It was wonderful to see so many board members together in person (last pic) - just missing Arlen Clarke and Nichole Martini, who had to leave before we could grab them for the picture. Happy Holidays to all our friends and fans of J.S. Bach!
Admission is free! Bring your friends and kick off the Christmas season surrounded by beautiful music.

We are so thankful once again to have received a grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission in support of our 2023-2024 season! The SCAC has funded our work through operating support grants for small non-profits for the past several seasons, and our success would not be possible without them. As a small but growing organization, the support from the SCAC is deeply appreciated. Thank you!
