We finished out Children's Day Camp today! It was a FUN four days of learning about Jesus, jumping, building, bowling, movie watching, cooking, eating, crafting and sign language! Our campers had visits from Mary, Jonah, Martha and David that taught them that God DOES have a plan for their lives and that there are consequences for our willingness to follow His plan.

This was an amazing group of kids (and student helpers) and we are super thankful we got to spend the week together! One of our biggest blessings from the week came this morning as we "crafted" our camp shirts. The kids were given prompts like "Who was the kindest camper this week?" and then they "hand-printed" that camper's shirt!! It was a great way for the kids to build one another up and to have a visual representation of the relationships they are building.

Today was our first day of Children's Day Camp!

We had bible study with Jesus' mother, Mary, and made Mary ornaments so we can remember how she followed God's plan for her life! We played a team game that taught us that it's much easier when God controls the plan. Our lunch was a treat from Chick Fil A. (Shout out to Mrs. Donna!) We rounded out the afternoon with a trip to SkyZone and learning Jesus Loves Me in sign language.

HUGE shout out to our 4 youth helpers (2 from FBC & 2 we borrowed from a sister church) - we could NOT have done this without you! 🙌💛

Tomorrow will be GREAT!

Our mission team is home safe & sound! Yesterday they finished clean up at the Teach from DeHart Academy, completed a prayer walk around the school and went to a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. They are exhausted but filled with thanksgiving to the Lord for His provision & many blessings throughout the week.

Our mission team was feeling a little exhausted yesterday morning when God sent sweet Ms. Iraida to encourage them! They had a special time of praise & worship right on the street outside of the Teach from DeHart Academy. 🙌💛🙏 Keep praying for the team as God continues to sustain and uplift as they finish up their work today!

Last night our PA mission team made burgers for families in the community. It was a precious time of ministry and fellowship!

Our mission team in Arnold, PA is still working hard and ministering! They started their day with breakfast and a team meeting and went on to continue demo at Teach from Dehart Academy. The work day ended with telling neighborhood kids about Team Jesus AND cooking for the community!
Please continue to lift up this team as they battle sore muscles and fatigue. TWO more days to minister as God has called them for this trip.

Our mission team is headed to dinner this evening after a day of hard work and productivity! Please keep praying for safety, perseverance and focus as they continue working tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.

Please continue to pray for our mission team as they begin demo work tomorrow on the future Teach from DeHart Academy! Today they started off with worship followed by a tour of the building and some time on the town.

Our mission team left this morning to head towards Arnold, PA! This 24 member team will be working with Teach from DeHart Academy as they prepare to demo their building in preparation for a remodel. Every member of the team has arrived safely and they are gearing up for worship in the morning and a walk through of the building tomorrow!

Our students {and their friends} had a BLAST at the Wednesday Night Live pool party last week!
