Our Mission

United Housing Connections is where compassion meets action. We connect people at-risk for or currently experiencing homelessness with safe, sustainable and affordable homes. We work to promote and preserve the dignity and quality of life for all citizens in Upstate, South Carolina.

We envision an Upstate SC where all people have the opportunity to live in a safe, sustainable and affordable home. United Housing Connections is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. UHC is an organization that works together with other agencies in our area to provide affordable housing. We are dedicated to ending homelessness through programming, advocacy, and building safe, sustainable, and affordable housing. Our goal is to help fill the gaps in services for homeless and at-risk persons.

We take a holistic approach to help homeless people build new lives, providing personal outreach and supportive services to help homeless, low-income, and high-risk populations (including persons with addiction, mental illness, or HIV/AIDS) reach self-sufficiency. We work closely with other agencies often donating goods and services to them. In addition to housing, we also provide personal support through social service programs.
