Rotary Club of Greenville City Center
We meet for lunch at 12:30 on Fridays (we do not meet the last Friday of the month) at The Poinsett Club. With you, we can accomplish even more.
Founded in 1955, we are neighbors, community leaders, and global citizens uniting for the common good.
A huge win for many of our team members that run the board of this fellow organization, Friends of the Highlanders 🥳🥳

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and represents freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey towards equality. As Rotarians, we are committed to celebrating diversity and fostering inclusivity within our communities worldwide.
Juneteenth is a reminder of the progress we've made and the work that still lies ahead. It's a day to reflect on our collective history and renew our dedication to creating systems that support justice, equity, and freedom for all.
At Rotary, we believe in the power of community and the importance of diverse voices in shaping a better world. By championing the freedom of the press and supporting initiatives that promote transparency and truth, we strive to empower individuals and communities globally.
Today, let's honor the spirit of Juneteenth by committing to actions that uplift, educate, and inspire positive change. Together, we can build stronger, more inclusive communities and a world where every individual is truly free.
Happy Juneteenth!

We are thrilled to announce that our recent car show, "Cars for C.A.R.T.," was a tremendous success. Thanks to your support and participation, we raised $560 for Alzheimer's research.
We had 22 amazing cars enter the show, with two standout winners:
The pre-1982 award went to a stunning 1968 SS Chevelle. 🏆
The post-1982 award was claimed by a classic 1985 Chevrolet C10 pickup.🏆
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, showed their cars, voted, and entered the car show. Your enthusiasm and generosity made this event memorable.
A special thanks to our sponsor, Caroline Truck Shop, for hosting refreshments and advertising our event and to City Range Steakhouse for allowing us to use their parking space.

We were pleased to host Jason Ross, Lieutenant Colonel and member of our club, as well as Zhe “Jer” Little, Second Lieutenant, to speak on behalf of the South Carolina State Guard (SCSG) last week.
Jason said, “As a member, Second Lieutenant Zhe Little and myself had the amazing opportunity to speak to explain the history and mission of the SC State Guard. This great opportunity opened up the doors to share what we do for South Carolina, especially during natural disasters.
We gained three potential recruits from this meeting and other amazing opportunities for the SCSG.
Listen…For others, if you seriously want to be part of something bigger than yourselves, while serving the oldest military department in our Nation, private message me. We are taking potential candidates that are one, serious, and two, really want to make a difference when our State needs us.”
The South Carolina State Guard’s mission is, “Trained and Ready”. Please contact Jason if you are interested in becoming involved! Thank you for speaking to the club and sharing your fantastic work!

Our Rotary Club’s Super Raffle is designed to raise funds to support local charities…and it’s Super because one $50 ticket enters the ticket holder into 52 44 weekly drawings, one each week during 2018. Don’t think of it as one $50 ticket...instead, think of it as 52 44 different $1 tickets.
For each Super Raffle ticket purchased between now and March 10th, you’ll also receive 2 tickets to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey home game on March 11th.
Here’s how our Super Raffle works:
