Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Come and have breakfast with us and see what Rotary is all about. Join us at our meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Kroc Center at 7:30 AM.
Congratulations, 2024-2025 Club President Mr. Joseph Gobbett.
Always a great day when we get to welcome a new Rotarian into our Club. Meet Rotarian Kyle Camp from the Blue Ridge Council, Scouting America.
District 7750 was well represented at the Annual CART meeting. Rotarians donated $2 million dollars this past year to support Alzheimer’s research. Five grants of were given to researchers for continuation of their work. Each research group presented a summary of their work and their objectives. Let’s keep at it until we find a solution for this horrible disease.

3 Magical Steps to growing your club
Great article.
From the article:
The secret to our club’s growth boiled down to pursuing three “magical” steps, which any club can follow:
Magic No.1
Focus on raising up leaders within your club who could serve as district governors. This will provide strong leadership within your club.
Magic No.2
Create a three- or five-year strategic plan. Continuity is the key.
Magic No.3
Create satellite clubs that will appeal to different interests within your community. Look for potential members who are business owners, CEOs, or people who share a profession or interest like singing. Starting a satellite club is easier than chartering an independent club from scratch, as they thrive on and grow with the support of the sponsor club. Someday, they may leave and become their own club, but that, too, is good.
Happy Valentines Day
Join us on Thursday, February 8th @ 7:30am at the Kroc Center. Our guest speaker is Carlos Garza, a representative from Six & Twenty Distillery.
The February District Newsletter is now on the district website. Be sure to check it out and read about all the good stuff happening around our district. Find it on Rotary7750.org.
On last Thursday the GBRC held its last meeting for the year. What a wonderful way to end the year inducting a new member. Our Past Club Present presents two banners to the club for our foundation giving.
Merry Christmas .
It’s Saturday in December at Sam’s in Greenville so Greenville Breakfast Rotarians are out ringing the bell to support the Salvation Army and spreading Christmas cheer. Thank you Rotarians for doing good in your community. Merry Christmas to all.
The day after thoughts…..good food, good friends, great fellowship. After speaking many Thursday mornings meetings, bell ringing, smoking turkeys and hams, recruiting new members, wishing old members well, planning for another year here we are…. What has become our annual Christmas gathering.
Sharon Landis, thank you for being an awesome host…. Fellow Rotarians thanks for the memories. Have a very merry Christmas and awesome new year.
Greenville Breakfast are a festive group of Rotarians. We are not only service minded but like to have some fun as well. Our Christmas social included wonderful fellowship, delicious food, and joyful singing of Christmas carols accompanied by our own wonderfully talented Rotarian Sharon on the piano. We were also treated to a lovely duet by Past District Governor Tom and Past President Valerie signing a beautiful rendition of Silent Night. The night ended with what has become a Greenville Breakfast tradition, the singing of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Thank you to Sharon Landis for once again hosting our Christmas Party in her lovely home.
Past President Annie Maertens accepts the banners in recognition of Greenville Breakfast contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Presenting the banners are Zone Director-elect Patrick Eakes and Past District Governor Joyce Morin. Congratulations and thank you Rotarians for support of our Foundation “Doing Good in the World” and right here in Greenville.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Rotary Club of Greenville Breakfast
