🎉Meet Mrs. Gabriella 🎉
Ever wondered who’s the mastermind behind making fun name tags and making abstinence education fun? It’s Gabriella, who, rumor has it, can juggle coffee cups, lesson plans, and the occasional office prank all at once.
When Gabriella isn’t teaching, she can be found coaching CrossFit or spoiling her dog, Goose, proving that even super teachers have their downtime. 🌟
Choosing the Best Way, our 6th grade curriculum lays the foundation for building healthy relationships, setting strong boundaries, and cultivating good character. One key trait we focus on is *courage* — the strength to uphold your boundaries, even when faced with challenges, ridicule, or pressure. Boundaries are vital in every relationship; they help others understand your limits. But let’s be honest — it’s tough to stand firm when someone you care about tests those boundaries. That’s where courage comes in. Protecting yourself and staying true to your values takes bravery, but it’s worth it! 💪
Live Free is proud to teach students from an SRA viewpoint. We encourage students to COMPLETELY avoid s*xual activity until marriage due to the risks of STDs, Pregnancy, and Emotional Consequences. Everyone has a choice! We want to give them the tools and information to help them build a promising future for themselves.
Many wonder if teaching students to avoid s*xual activity is even worth it, saying “Teens will do what teens want to do”; however recent studies have shown that the Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) approach IS effective.

We aim to inspire young people to develop healthy and successful relationships. By focusing on these “building blocks”, students are equipped to pursue long-lasting and beneficial relationships.
It’s always great to see that what we teach is TRULY making an impact. Our goal is to give students the tools they need to build the futures they want!
“While [our culture] highly focuses on s*xuality, even the s*xuality of our youth, that’s actually the opposite of what we hope to achieve with our program. The message of abstinence is one that attempts to dismay such an intense focus on s*xuality but rather to focus on goals, the future, education, and safe/healthy relationships.”

“The word “safe” would imply that there is no risk of anything adverse happening. “Safe” means that no unwanted consequence is going to occur. However, we know that with teen “safe s*x” that is certainly not the case!”

There is a need for accurate, honest, and clear education about gender and s*x. From T.V shows to music to pop culture, the messages about gender can be confusing at best and misleading and damaging at worst. We seek to provide clear, honest, and helpful education in this area and stand up for truth.
Check out Dr. Leonard Sax’s book, Why Gender Matters, for what you need to know about the gender conversation.
We always love hearing great reviews from our partners! Here’s what they have to say about our program!

At Live Free, we don’t just educate students on the physical consequences of s*x before marriage—we discuss how delaying s*x can provide a way for healthy relationships to grow. Healthy relationships are important at every age, and delaying s*x can help create a relationship of substance, allowing space for mutual trust and respect to grow.
Here at Live Free we are proud of the curriculum that we provide to our students. Our educators love teaching it. We find the Choosing The Best curriculum to be effective, intentional, and enjoyable by educators, students, and parents!

Choosing the best path of life is one our greatest desires for students! There are many paths we can take in life but some lead to treacherous territory and life altering detours. A life style of abstinence helps students choose the best path for their lives and their future!

Boundaries in teen relationships are so important. Check out this month’s newsletter from Nick Jefson about setting boundaries for teens and their relationships.
Figuring out which way we should go in life is not always an easy task. There are obstacles and detours that always seem to come our way. If we set goals and make decisions that impact our futures in a positive way then we are able to choose which way we should go with confidence and determination!
The Way curriculum is what Live Free uses to teach 5th and 6th graders about abstinence. Our focus in this curriculum is to teach them that s*x is not where our focus should reside rather we can look towards our future to make good decisions and choose the best way! The way of abstinence!
