๐ Last Week Leadership Development Update! ๐
Our Executive Director, Brandon Worley , took a significant step towards enhancing his leadership skills by participating in the transformative day-long retreat, C-Suite Sessions: Building Resilience for Long-Term Impact hosted by Kim Fabian. There were many take aways however the collective take away was "We Are Not Alone," and it was truly an inspiring experience!
Brandon had the opportunity to network with a powerhouse group of leaders, including Lesley Pregenzer, Lelia King, Lisa O'Connell-Hall, CFRE, Dawn Dowden, and Sandy Halkett. Throughout the day, they shared wins, challenges, strategies, and visions that will foster long-term resilience and create a lasting positive impact in our community.
We firmly believe that making a long-term difference involves not only building trust but also strengthening our internal foundation of well-being. The nonprofit sector is incredibly demanding, and it's clear that supporting each other to sustain ourselves and our work is essential.
We can't wait to see what the future holds as our leader, Brandon, continues to drive our mission with passion, dedication, motivation, and GRIT. Together, we are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
Stay tuned for more updates as we forge ahead on this exciting journey! ๐ชโจ

MEET MELVIN ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
Melvin is a participant who comes to our monthly veteran and community clinics at Shankโs Driving Range. Melvin is a joy to be around and an inspiration to many. We want to not only thank Melvin for spending time with us each month, but for the time he served in the U.S. Army.
Hereโs what Melvin says about CAG:
โFirst and foremost I want to thank God. To be blessed and living each day on this earth.
First being a veteran and serving in the US Army were my greatest honor and privilege. Secondly having a strong family watching my six everyday and throughout my tenure. Five years ago my life was change from happiness to a wheelchair. Being lonely and having low self esteem. But I keep the faith. I was introduced to CAG program through word of mouth to my daughter, who happens to work at Holiday Inn Express in Greenville. An older gentleman was talking to her about this program with CAG, so my daughter knew Iโm a veteran and disabled. The next day she hands me this card about CAGโฆ this is how it changed my social life. Even today Iโm able to discover something new in life, and enjoy every single moment.
A Special Thanks to
Brandon Worley. โ
