Earlier this morning, PDFD responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Sumter Street. Engine 51 arrived on scene with a single wide trailer with heavy fire. Crews quickly controlled and extinguished the fire, and there were no injuries reported. Thank you Berea Fire Dept for responding as automatic aid.

Engine 54 along with a crew of 4 headed out early this morning to Lexington for stand by coverage while Crews attend FF Muller funeral later this afternoon.

Earlier today, PDFD responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Watson Drive. Engine 52 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the structure and located the fire in the kitchen with extension into the attic space. The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported. Thank you, Berea Fire Dept Engine 8 and Rescue 8, for responding as automatic aid.
