Loaves and Fishes Greenville
Loaves & Fishes rescues and delivers surplus food seven days a week.
Loaves & Fishes: Greenville's Food Rescue is dedicated to reducing food insecurity in our community. We pickup fresh, healthy, and surplus food seven days a week; and deliver it to 110 amazing community agencies including food banks, women's shelters, daycares, Veteran Centers, senior housing, rehabilitation centers, community centers, and many, many more. #Foodisourlovelanguage #RescuingAbundance
The number of people living with food insecurity in our community increased by nearly 45% between 2021 and 2022.
Rising from 42,000 to 60,850.
(Feeding America's latest data released in 2024 and reflecting 2022 figures)
In the face of numbers like this, it is easy to feel saddened, but our community is united in the fight against hunger. While it is important to understand what we're up against, we must remember that there is no such thing as too small to help or too little to give.

This Independence Day, we are celebrating the freedom to choose the foods that you know, the foods that bring comfort, the foods that won't be wasted due to lack of familiarity.
While Loaves & Fishes is not a food pantry, we deliver fresh, healthy surplus food to food pantries, shelters, schools, and more every single day.
Client Choice Model food pantries are set up like grocery stores where families can choose the foods that best fit their needs. Now, that's innovation. Greer Relief & Resources Agency, Inc. LiveWell Greenville

Perhaps solely among all art forms, music has the power to bypass our minds, move directly into our hearts, and elicit an emotional response. Similarly, the pull within us to reach out to our neighbors in need is instinctual and deeply embedded in our sense of what it means to live in community.
