DO NOT be scared of the ball! Ways to do this?

⚾ Have someone throw a ball at your face
⚾ Deflect it upwards like it was a hit
⚾ REPEAT!
⚾ Be in the ready position and know what you're going to do if the ball comes towards your face before it actually happens!

Treat every ball as a new opportunity!

Every play has the ability to change the game, so be ready for it and step up to the challenge!

BATTING TIPS AND TRICKS:

If the hands are high at the start, the batter has to drop them and then explode to the ball! Lowering the hands eliminates an unnecessary movement and allows the batter to get the ball in the air better.

What drove the idea of HD Sports?

Chad: was introduced to the idea and has young boys interested in and playing baseball and figured HD Sports would be a great fit!

Travis: has kids and connections in the DCG schools systems that would love a facility like this!

Matt: has recently graduated all his girls from hight school in the Johnston Community but wishes he would a have had a facility like this to take his kids too!
