World Autism Month is celebrated every April. During this month, we come together to increase understanding and acceptance of the autism community. ASD affects children of all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. There is no “cure” for ASD, but there are several interventions that can help children learn important skills that improve everyday life. 💙

Two years ago today, Autism Awareness Month was re-designated Autism Acceptance Month. The terminology change is small but significant and powerful. While awareness simply acknowledges the existence of something, acceptance actively fosters an environment of inclusion and belonging.
Together, let’s build a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Let’s continue to empower individuals with autism to live authentically and without constraint. It’s crucial to recognize their capabilities and potential, affirming that they are capable of achieving as much as anyone else. 💙
Today, we’re reminded of the power of transformation and renewal that Resurrection Sunday brings. It not only reminds us that in our darkest moments, there is light, but it is also a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. May your hearts be filled with peace, and your spirits lifted with hope today.
We will be hosting an Autism Awareness forum next week! Please consider joining us 💙
