Congrats to PGY-5 Dr. Alex Flores & associate professor Dr. Alex Ropper, who've received a BCM Ventures Proof of Concept Pilot Award for their proposal "CT Radiomics Predict New or Progression of Compression Fracture in Tumor Infiltrated Thoracolumbar Vertebrae."

The duo will use the grant money to transform their proof of concept model, PathFRAX, which predicts future pathologic (Path) fractures (FRAX) in metastatic patients who may benefit from prophylactic cement augmentation, into a state-of-the-art model.
