About the Instructor: Chrys Bailey, a whole food and health practitioner since 1969, brings a wealth of practical experience to this class. She has a background in macrobiotics, food combining for health and 50+ years of vegetable fermentation practice. Chrys has raised 8 healthy children and now 7 grandchildren following the principles she has studied and developed. She also has extensive teaching and consulting experience and for decades has provided unique and revolutionary catering and public/Senior meal programs. In all of this she is fueled from a passion for nourishing the body and mind and supporting healthy growth and development of families and communities.
Chrys has dedicated her life to the transformative power of food. As a young woman she managed macrobiotic study houses and has spent the past 5 decades running a specialized catering business. Her focus has always been on feeding her family and community using carefully selected and combined, seasonally fresh, locally sourced, organic foods to provide nourishing, healing meals that dazzle the senses and revitalize the body.
