Planning for the 21st Annual Rock County Community Baby Shower is underway! A group of individuals from various organizations in Rock County are working together to make this event a success.

If you are part of an organization that provides education, direct support, or resources for pregnancy, postnatal care, infant/child health and safety, general parenting, and parent/infant/family wellness, we would love for you to join us!

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Practicing safe sleep habits is a great way to reduce the risks of infant deaths.

Cribs for Kids® Program is one of many things Children's Wisconsin - Janesville Office has to offer year round. Cribs for Kids® program provides Rock County families with Cribettes™ to help reduce deaths due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and unsafe sleep. Cribettes™ are provided free of charge to families who are unable to purchase one.

Program eligibility:
To qualify for a free Cribette™ through the Cribs for Kids® program you must be pregnant or a parent/caregiver parenting a child under 1 year of age, meet income requirements, and have no other safe sleep environment available for your baby.

As we are approaching colder weather, I know we said that…. 🫣😳 This is a great reminder! Bulky jackets or coats can create too much room between the straps and the child making it unsafe!
