A Message from our Director ❤️

I am floored weekly by the generosity of people and businesses in our community! I wish I could mention them all... from each bag of baby clothes donated, to those that have faithfully written checks to the Helpline for YEARS! It bring tears to my eyes that so many people treasure our mission, "advocating for life, faith and family".

Story: I needed to go out and get some diapers for our Care Class. I went out and purchased right away so I am not scrambling at the start of my week. And then what comes in? This huge donation of the same size diapers I needed for Care!! I felt like God was like, "be patient for Me".
I'm a slow learner 😊 He's so good!

Thank you Janesville! Tonight was so fun to see everyone in the community gathered for National Night Out!

If you feel led, we are in need of sizes 4,5&6 diapers of any brand!

Please call/text 608-755-9739 to schedule a drop off, or stop in for our open hours on Tuesdays from 10am-2pm and Saturdays 10am-12pm. We’d love to give you a tour when you are out as well and show you all the ways parents can receive help in the community.

Did you know most of our operations run off of trained volunteers and a volunteer board of directors?

With April being National Volunteer Appreciation Month, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the volunteers who have dedicated their time, energy, and love to the families in the community. From sorting clothes, to packing diapers, to organizing diaper drives, and becoming apart of their village. We couldn’t do it without them!

As many of you know we run solely off donations! In September alone, we had 33 new parents, and a total of 189 parents helped! That’s about 7,650 diapers with October being 10,480 diapers, not including all the other items we send home with them!

Reminder!

This Thursday, November 9th, there will be a child safety seat inspection event from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at JFD Fire Station #1, 303 Milton Avenue. The Child Safety Seat Inspection Program assists parents in protecting their children by providing certified child safety seat technicians from the Janesville Fire Department and the Janesville Police Department.

As we are approaching colder weather, I know we said that…. 🫣😳 This is a great reminder! Bulky jackets or coats can create too much room between the straps and the child making it unsafe!

We have been BLESSED this week!!

First, Blain Supply donated school supplies for the moms we serve with school aged kiddos. As many of us know this can get very expensive for parents. Just one less thing they have to worry about with a new school year approaching!

Second, Bethel Church of Janesville came and painted multiple rooms for us! Even came with supplies, paint, and lots of smiles!

It is because of generosity from people in the community that we get to continue to walk along side these moms and parents. So, THANK YOU for joining their village!! ❤️
