Thank you Argyle Community Foundation for funding dreams and visions throughout our community! We continue to enjoy the enhanced entrance to our library through the funding we received last year (new sign, concrete pad for upcoming outdoor bench, sculpture!!)
This coming year our funding will go towards new, comfy chairs (and storage dolly) for in the community room upstairs for programming! THANK YOU!!
In observance of Thanksgiving all our offices will be closed Nov 23 and 24. If you need immediate assistance please contact [email protected]
The SWCAP Pop Up Food Pantry (this will be a UHaul Truck) will be in our neighborhood on Wednesday, November 22nd. The truck will be at the St. Patrick's Church parking lot on Catherine Street from 12:00-1:00 P.M.
Anyone in need of food can receive a food tote. SWCAP is required to collect names, birthdates, addresses and household size. You must be a Wisconsin resident to receive food.
The Benton Community Fund has provided a $2,000 grant to SWCAP in support of this program. Since the inception of our fund we have distributed $4,800 to help address food insecurity in our community. Thank you to our wonderful donors for their generosity which makes this result possible.
Today was a big day for Grandview. A VERY big day. National designation will be submitted by the WI Historical Society and should be done soon.
🪑Students in the Cabinet Making and Prototyping class at MHS have been busy mass-producing parts for Adirondack Chairs and are now working on assembly using various jigs. These chairs are primarily made from Poplar hardwood lumber. Great job!
This is a great resource to help provide funding needed to keep our communities strong! Consider donating!

Remembering Alan Dunwiddie.
Alan Dunwiddie was one of our founders and served CFSW throughout his lifetime. With the passing of Alan, we wanted to ensure that CFSW creates a memorial that was lasting and true to Alan’s spirit. On October 31st a tree was dedicated to Alan’s memory and service to CFSW in Traxler Park located in Janesville, WI.
Thanks to the Janesville Urban Forest Alliance, we memorialize Alan’s legacy and commitment to the community of Janesville with the dedication of this tree – in the hopes that just as Alan lived his life passing on advice and support, so too will he continue to stand tall and watch over our community for many generations to come.
Our Janesville, Monroe and Platteville offices will be closed Thursday, November 9th to attend the Wisconsin Philanthropy Network's 2023 Statewide Conference on Philanthropy.
