Today, we honor and remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. All ETSU offices are closed and will re-open tomorrow.

The 2024-2025 FAFSA is now available! Go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to apply for federal aid (including the Pell Grant) for next year. The application is currently available for short periods of time so the Department of Education can perform site maintenance. ETSU's FAFSA code for undergraduate and graduate programs is 003487.

Taking care of yourself physically and mentally is an important part of your college success. Join McKenzie Hill and Chloe Salyer for a healing Self-Care Workshop on Wednesday, November 1 to learn and practice self-care techniques. Drop-in any time between 1:00-3:00 pm.

Happy Fall Break! While we hope you are taking time to rest and relax, we know that some of you might use the break to study and catch up on school work. Our office and tutoring lab will be open on October 16 and 17 from 8:00-4:30.

Drumroll, please! We have proudly secured the First-Generation College Celebration Grant! With this grant, we will celebrate the remarkable achievements of our first-generation college students, faculty, staff, and alumni on and around Wednesday, November 8. Stay tuned for updates as we spotlight our first-gen community's incredible talents and accomplishments.

Interested in going to medical school? Dr. Tom Kincer of the Quillen College of Medicine will host this informative workshop on how to apply to and fund your medical school experience. This is a great opportunity to learn! Join us on Tuesday, October 10 from 1:00-2:00 pm in the Culp Center, 303.

Interested in getting money to pay for college? Join us on Tuesday, October 3 for a workshop on the ETSU General Scholarship Application! We will tell you about the application, as well as tips for completing it and submitting the best version possible. 12:00-1:00 pm in the Culp Center, 360.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! During this celebration, we remember all of the trailblazers in the Hispanic community and their great contributions to the world.
