Johnson City is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains! Our town is buzzing with several different, diverse activities for everyone to enjoy. From hiking or kayaking to exploring local shops and restaurants, JC has it all. We love the vibrant and engaging community Johnson City offers!

ETSU’s campus is officially in full bloom as all the pretty flowers are emerging from their buds creating the perfect atmosphere for a picnic! Happy Spring everybody!

ETSU has its own postal and passport services where you can send and receive parcels. Parcels can be picked up at you own time at any hour of the day. A notification to indicate that your parcel has arrived is sent via email with all the instructions on how you can collect it!

At the heart of campus, Carter Hall is directly across from the ETSU Amphitheatre, D.P. Culp Student Center, and University Commons, in close proximity to a number of academic buildings! Carter Hall is home to the Honors Living-Learning Community. A Living-Learning Community (LLC) is a group of residents living together on a floor or within a building who share a common major, interest, or program affiliation. This helps residents build study groups and make friends. Residents in the Honors community receive specialized support and programs geared towards the needs of Honors College students. Open to students who are accepted members of the Global Citizen Scholars, Fine and Performing Arts Scholars, Midway Honors Scholars, Honors-In-Discipline Scholars, or Changemaker Scholars

A year ago a group of students from Zimbabwe came to our campus to share in a cross-cultural music exchange. Not only were we able to share all the wonderful aspects that create East Tennessee State University, but our campus was forever impacted by their musical talents.

Did you know? Nicks Hall is home to the College of Nursing, which has one of the largest nursing enrollments in the state! The fourth floor is dedicated to Information Technology Support and Computing.💙💛

The Center for Physical Activity (CPA) is filled with amenities for students to stay active on campus! It has group fitness classes for dance, cardio, cycling and more, as well as various yoga classes. Whether you need to relax or have an intense workout, the CPA offers it all!
