A former KSU student posted a book she made back in 1999 in Barbara Swindoll's bookarts and papermaking class. She was the professor before Dibble and she created the Bookarts and papermaking class that we still have today at KSU. We have added Letterpress to the curriculum about 2007 when Jerushia Graham was teaching the course then Cynthia Lollis took it to another level with added Advanced. Thanks for the memory Ann

ALSO We are celebrating 30 years of Bookarts and Papermaking at Kennesaw State this Fall.
The course was started in 1992 by my predecessor, Barbara Swindoll. She made great books and made paper using blenders! We continued the course and it got added to the BFA in early 2000. In 2001 we got the state-of-the-art equipment we still have and have been producing beautiful editions of paper ever since. We added Letterpress in 2013 to create the Letterpress, Bookarts and Papermaking course when Page Burch dragged a broken Challenge press up from Georgia Southern that we have since restored. It is now in the company of dozens of other beautiful ready to be restored and restored and functioning presses in our collection. This fall we will have several papermaking events to honor the 30-year history. Be on the look out for announcements!
