Based on SGA feedback, Biola Library decided to shift its hours on Fridays and Saturdays beginning this spring semester. Our new weekend hours are:
Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Today marks 100 years since the death of Biola co-founder, Lyman Stewart (1840-1923), a man who was known for his love of the Bible. Pictured below is the Bible Stewart carried and read throughout the Civil War as a member of the Pennsylvania Cavalry.

It's Black History Month! and the Library is joining Biola in celebrating in the following ways:
- To help you explore the library's resources on Black History, we've put together a research guide that you can find at libguides.biola.edu/africanamericanhistorymonth.
- You can also find library resources related to this subject in the display case near the Makerspace.
- Biola is hosting "What Black History Means to Me: Voices of Biola's Black/African American Faculty" in the Reading Room. Join us on February 21 from 12 - 1:30pm to hear from Dr. Leon Harris, Dr. Denise Reid, Dr. Brandon Ware, and Dr. Katrina Greene. Lunch will be provided!
