Based on SGA feedback, Biola Library decided to shift its hours on Fridays and Saturdays beginning this spring semester. Our new weekend hours are:

Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Stream FREE videos from PBS through Biola Library! Search for Alexander Street in the Databases A-Z tab at biola.edu/library, click on the link, and you'll find the PBS Channel as an option from which to stream.

Today marks 100 years since the death of Biola co-founder, Lyman Stewart (1840-1923), a man who was known for his love of the Bible. Pictured below is the Bible Stewart carried and read throughout the Civil War as a member of the Pennsylvania Cavalry.

Saturday: Noon - 5PM
Sunday: 3PM - 9PM

Biola Library will be closed for Independence Day on Monday and Tuesday next week (July 3-4). Enjoy the holiday!

It's Black History Month! and the Library is joining Biola in celebrating in the following ways:

- To help you explore the library's resources on Black History, we've put together a research guide that you can find at libguides.biola.edu/africanamericanhistorymonth.
- You can also find library resources related to this subject in the display case near the Makerspace.
- Biola is hosting "What Black History Means to Me: Voices of Biola's Black/African American Faculty" in the Reading Room. Join us on February 21 from 12 - 1:30pm to hear from Dr. Leon Harris, Dr. Denise Reid, Dr. Brandon Ware, and Dr. Katrina Greene. Lunch will be provided!

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Biola Library will be closed on Monday, January 16th.
