Today our CrossFit classes are taking on workout “Redwings” in honor of the 19 men (11 Navy Seals and 9 US Army soldiers) who lost their lives in 2005 during operation Redwings.
Part of the workout called for a run carrying an odd object.
Shoutout to for allowing members to grab whatever item they wanted and making sure everyone had a great experience. From med balls, to a bike, to a chalk bucket, any object will do.
Sometimes these workouts mean a little more than health and fitness. Today is one of those. Where the battle is more mental than physical. Convincing yourself to keep going.

If you were ever a member with us at Ragin Fitness Co., chances are you’ve met Bark. He was the kindest and sweetest dog you’d ever meet. He’d give you the fur right off his back if he could.
We were so blessed to get to spend close to 12 years with him and we just know he’s up in doggy heaven watching over us and judging all those no reps!

MEET OUT MEMBER OF THE MONTH 🌼
Mrs. Melissa Cormier has been a member of ours for quite some time! Because she is part of our Hybrid program we get to enjoy her bright energy and company just about everyday and when we’re lucky even twice a day!
Last year she and her husband were in a car crash that left her with some pretty mean injuries. She never let that stop her from showing up and working on herself. Since then she has bounced back even better than before and made some huge steps in her fitness journey!
We are so proud of her hard work and dedication and are glad she has chosen us to grow with!
Keep up the hard work and always stay kind!

In honor of our very own of taking on not one but two Ironman races, we’ve got a challenge for you!
This challenge will consist of a 10k Row, 20k Bike, and 10k Ski. You can use the SugarWod app to log your distances each day throughout the month of April. Have a coach check your monitors and check off your work before logging.
Beau will be competing in the Galveston 70.3 in Texas on April 7th. Just a few weeks later he’ll double it in The Woodlands 140.6 on April 27th. We are so proud of your hard work and wish you the best of luck!
