✏️ As Lakeville Area Schools staff gear up for the 2024-25 school year, the air is full of excitement! Teachers have been organizing their classrooms to be inviting and engaging, technology staff are ensuring student iPads are set up and ready, custodial and facility staff are working hard to ensure our spaces are conducive to learning, and staff are diving into professional development to enhance their skills.
This collective effort highlights our staff's commitment to creating a supportive and inspiring environment where every student belongs, is valued, and can succeed.

This summer, through a partnership with Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191, 16 incoming Lakeville 9th-grade students participated in the Rising 9 Retreat program at Burnsville High School. ️⬆️9️⃣ The Rising 9 Retreat uses engaging, interactive and fun collaborative lessons, among other activities, that strengthen critical thinking, organization and study skills.
The program culminated in a tour of their respective high schools, where students went on scavenger hunts to practice navigating their new school with mock student schedules 🗺️. Lakeville North and Lakeville South are gaining some truly fabulous new 9th graders this fall!
