UPDATE: All is back to normal :)
Hey Adventurers! Our Beanstack app is experiencing a wide-ranging bug 🐛 that prevents you from seeing the individual activities (or hikes, in the case of GO! Lancaster) on the app. It should be fixed soon. In the meantime, you are still able to log via the app. Just do your activity browsing in the paper log or on the website (lancasterlibraries.beanstack.org). Reach out if you have any questions, and happy hiking! Remember to stay safe and log all your hikes by August 17th for entry in the grand prize drawing.
Whether you're reading on the beach, listening to audiobooks while chauffeuring kids from activity to activity, or grabbing some time with your eBook on your lunch breaks, we hope you're finding some great books this summer. Stop into your library to find your next summer read 😎
UPDATE: Frisco’s reopened their downtown Lancaster location today (Aug 1), and they WILL be honoring the summer reading prizes at that location. Hooray!!
Attn. Summer Reading Program participants: We are sad to learn that Frisco’s Chicken has closed their doors indefinitely. We were thrilled when they joined us as a Summer Reading Program Sponsor this year. Due to the closure, please note that the Frisco’s Chicken prize coupon on your prize sheet will no longer be a valid prize. We do not have a replacement option. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

It’s time for ! Borrow the featured title from our digital collection for free from May 9-23. Learn more from the author:
"I’m Dan Flores and I’m truly excited to have my latest book, Wild New World, become a featured May title
for OverDrive’s book club, Big Library Read. Wild New World is a book of “Big History” that tells the story
of North America’s wild creatures and of the impact humanity had on these animals as we repeatedly
discovered this “wild new world.” I wrote the book as a narrative, heavily based in story-telling, that
starts in deep time and extends into America’s present struggles to grapple with extinctions, endangered
species, and an overheating planet. This is a kind of history few of us know. But since the past doesn’t
remain in the past, it’s an American story probably most of us should know and understand."
