The Boyd Armenian Law Students Association encourages everyone to reflect on the Armenian Genocide's significance and the ongoing impact of past and present ethnic cleansing, massacres, and genocides.
It's vital to acknowledge that the Armenian Genocide was not an isolated event. The 20th and 21st centuries have witnessed numerous other atrocities. In our pursuit of a just and equitable world, it's our collective responsibility to hold states accountable for such heinous acts.
By learning from the past and seeking to address these failures, we can work towards a future where such crimes are never tolerated.
Also, we would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the commemoration. Thank you, AACS - Armenian American Cultural Society of Las Vegas, for sponsoring the event, and thank you to everyone who supported the event.

π Boyd Armenian Law Student Logos Unveiled! πβ¨
We're thrilled to reveal our new Boyd Armenian Law Student Association logos! π¦π²πΊπΈπ Blending Armenian heritage and the pursuit of justice, this emblem celebrates our amazing Armenian American law students. Swipe left to check it out! π
The first logo is the Armenian eternity symbol, also known as Arevakhach, an ancient, looping design signifying eternal life, growth, and the cyclical nature of existence. It's a powerful emblem of Armenian heritage, spirituality, and resilience.
The second logo is Davit Bek, a prominent 18th-century Armenian military commander who led several revolts against Safavid and Ottoman rule. The Battle of Halidzor, a key engagement during his struggle, leading a fearless group of 300 Armenian soldiers, achieved a remarkable victory against the overwhelming 70,000-strong Ottoman forces in the Battle of Halidzor. This astounding feat showcased his tactical genius and unwavering commitment to Armenian independence.
The last logo is a combination of them all.
