We hope everyone had a good Christmas weekend! We are now preparing for next years bags and are in need of donations.
If you're unable to donate via monetary or Amazon Wishlist you can help your community out by sharing our organization with companies asking for donations.
Below is a generic donation request message that we are asking you to send to companies that you think would make good editions to the care bags.
If you're unable to reach out to companies on our behalf please share our page on Facebook and other social media sites. You can also tag companies on this post or other posts. At the end of the day we need our foundation shared so we can gain more attention from larger companies and donors.

When we pick items for the bags we think of busy activities to stimulate someone's brain and help pass the time. There is a term called chemo brain which causes someone to become forgetful so, puzzles, word games, adult coloring books, or anything that can help with memory and brain function is what we aim for.
We also look for soft large blankets, neck pillows, eye masks, soft ice packs for the bags. The hospital is an uncomfortable environment and these things can help make it a little less uncomfortable for the patient and the family. Often times family members are sleeping on chairs, so they can support their loved ones during their fight. Hospital rooms aren't always the most functional when accommodating family.
We reached out to https://threelollies.com/queasy-products/ already asking for a donation this morning. We always include their products as they are a huge help since treatment can make someone really queasy.
Raising Cane's and Good Day Chocolate was a donor in the past bags and we would love to invite them to participate for next year.

Donation request letter:
I am writing to you today on behalf of The Connor Haddon Coble Foundation (https://tchcf.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to cancer patients and their families. We are reaching out to ask for your support in the form of a donation to help us create cancer patient care bags for those in need.
Cancer treatment can be an overwhelming and stressful experience, and we believe that providing patients with small comforts and necessities can make a big difference in their journey. Our cancer patient care bags are filled with items such as blankets, snacks, books, and other personal care items to help patients feel more comfortable and supported during treatment.
We are grateful for any support you can provide, and we hope that you will consider making a donation to our foundation to help us continue providing these care bags to those in need. Your contribution will make a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Thank you for considering this request. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with you to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
Sincerely,
The Connor Haddon Coble Foundation

Today is a very hard day for our family. Three years ago this afternoon at 4:05 we lost our beautiful son of 23 years to cancer. Connor was an absolute joy to be around and we miss him. His smile was constant and his love of family and country was always obvious. We miss you so deeply, the pain I am having in writing this is unbelievable.
On Christmas morning we will honor him by delivering care bags to St. Rose - Sienna Hospital's Oncology floor. These 24 care bags are something we can do to honor Connor and maybe brighten the day of someone going through the worse time in their life.
Today, take a minute and give someone you love an extra hug and tell them you love them.
We started a foundation in honor of Connor to help cancer patients.
CONNOR HADDON COBLE FOUNDATION
Connor your family loves and misses you......
It is July already and time to reach out to St. Rose Hospital to see how their supply of bags are. This is the time we need to start thinking about resupply if they are low. At the same time we start getting a list put together for the bags we give at Christmas time. This year will be our fourth year doing the bags for the Cancer floor at St. Rose Dominican Sienna Campus.
Through family, friends, and generous donations we have donated in Connor's name some fabulous gift bags. In these bags we have included more than 30 useful & fun items.
This year, we are officially a 501c3 and can provide all documents if needed. We are hoping to be able to reach out to several Corporations and see if they would be willing to help with our bags and care packages. It has been said the pain gets a little easier, but our loss is still very raw and hard to talk or even write about.
Any one who knew Connor would say what a genuine soul he had. He was always there to help family and friends. We know he would be so very proud and humbled by the idea of what we have started. We hope this year we can do more to help.
The items we put in our bags are most of what Connor had while going through his treatments. If our bags of goodies filled with puzzles, little nic-naks, and even a fake bug to scare the nurses with(LOL) can distract them for even an hour a day, then we have accomplished our goal. So many of the items he had while in the hospital would take him somewhere else and make him feel normal for just a little while.
I hope everyone has a good summer and I will try to write more in the coming weeks.
Today was always a special day for Connor and our family. Connor was very Patriotic and he loved his country. We have always honored those who have served and those who have paid the ultimate price. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to live and prosper in a free country. Today Connor would have his flag on his truck and that is what we will do today as well. Thank you to my Father for his service, my Grandfather for his service in World War II. Let us not forget the reason we celebrate this very special day. Happy Memorial Day.

An unexpected and wonderful surprise! The TCHCF was mentioned on a local Fox 5 morning show this past week.
Thank you Jason Feinberg! We are happy your mother and family are enjoying our Gift Bag given to her at Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus - Henderson, NV.
Our Gift Bags are created for patients (and their family) who must stay long-term in hospital for cancer treatment. With COVID happening, the protocols for in-hospital cancer treatments are changing stay times. Many are not having to stay as long. We certainly don't mind! 😁 as long as someone is benefitting from our gift bags and the items bring a smile to the face of someone who needs it and their family 🧡
Thank you to the amazing nurses like Mike L Miniano, and Rebecca Scovill for everything you do and helping to support our efforts.
...More Photos of this year's Gift Bag prep activities. With COVID, we were especially careful handling the items for the gift bags. All blankets and pillows washed with hypoallergenic laundry detergent and then rinsed in Lysol Laundry Sanitizer (which was difficult to find!) then packaged up. Everyone wore gloves and masks when working around & packing the gift bags. Each of the large gift bags is shrink wrapped to keep it clean until it's given to a patient.
🧡Our Heartfelt THANK YOU goes out🧡 to Rahim Andersen, Misty Rose, Mike & Lynn, Kay, RIch & Sandy...Everyone who helped make this year's gift giving possible🧡& everyone who helped us 🧡
Today was the delivery of this year's Gift Bags to Dignity Health St Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus. Very appreciative nurses met us curbside to transfer all the gifts up to the Oncology floor where 12 patients received a gift bag today. 12 additional extra large gift bags will be given to cancer patients who have to stay longer while they receive treatment.
We have tentative plans to bring additional gift bags in July, since by then they will most likely have all been given out to patients.
The bags this year were amazing thanks to donations from our Amazon Wishlist as well as monetary donations from friends.
Each patient received a thick comfy sanitized throw blanket, games, Bluetooth speakers, Amazon Firesticks, activity & coloring books, and so many other useful and fun items it was all we could do to get the oversized bags closed!
We had a wonderful time collecting all the items and preparing the gift bags. It is a small gesture that can brighten the day of someone in a terrifying and unimaginable situation. Our small way of 'paying-forward' the kindness of others.
This year we had to deliver the 24 care bags to St Rose Hospital on 01/10/2021 due to Covid. Regardless of when we delivered it the nurses assured us that the patients are going to be thrilled to receive such wonderful gifts.
A special big thank you to our repeat contributor Good Day Chocolate for their generous donation this year. They gave us a variety so each patient gets to try all of the different kinds of good day chocolates they offer.
We are looking forward to next year. We will be posting our list as soon as possible for items that we want to include in the bags at the end of the year.
If you happen to know any companies who may want to contribute or if you want to contribute please follow our Amazon wish list. If there's anything off the wish list please private message us so we can arrange to get the donation.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our bags in the past and this year. It is very much appreciated and your generosity does go a long way. There will be more photos uploaded shortly of us at the hospital.
Sadly, we have an emergency delay this year in the Gift Bag event. Our family has COVID in the house and all preparations have ceased. As soon as everyone is well with negative tests the bags will be completed and delivered for the patients at St. Rose Sienna Oncology floor. ❤❤ Thank you everyone who donated & contributed! With your help the gifts this year are amazing! They will get to the patients....just a little bit late ❤
TCHCF is working hard to get everything ready for this year's Gift Bag Event! We have received several amazing gifts from our Amazon Wish List, they will be put into a few lucky bags this year!😍
All our gift bags will be filled with wonderful, fun, & useful items in our hopes to brighten the day of a cancer patient and their family. 🧡
We can still use some adult coloring and activity books, check out our amazon wish list for ideas!

The Connor Haddon Coble Foundation is now official. On Connor's birthday, we filed for our 501(c)3 status with the IRS and also with the Secretary of State's office for registration as a domestic non-profit organization in the state of Nevada.
While waiting for final official confirmations, the gathering of items for this year's gift bags distribution has already begun over the past several months and is quickly picking up momentum.
Cozy soft blankets, comfy neck pillows, Bluetooth speakers and games. There will be lots more to come and it will all be packaged up and ready to distribute at the
on Christmas morning.
Our goal as The Connor Haddon Coble Foundation is to "Brighten a single day for someone who is battling a horrible disease confined to a hospital room."
We are putting together 12 large gift bags that are donated to the cancer treatment floor for distribution throughout the year to patients and their families who have to live long-term in the hospital while receiving treatment for their cancer. Additionally, last year we started a new tradition of an additional 12 bags that will be distributed to each of the 12 patient rooms where current cancer patients are staying on Christmas Day.
While Connor was living in the hospital for 10 months, we were lucky enough to be the recipient of an amazing donation from a caring family who made it possible for us to enjoy every moment possible with our beautiful son. This is our way of passing on that generosity.
While we do not have our bank accounts set up yet, we will soon, please DM if you would like to make a donation of money or items for this years gift bags. You can also contribute through our Amazon Wish List https://smile.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3999CUEXG4I4I
