🚔 At The Wounded Blue, we're dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental health in law enforcement through our Peer Support Advocate Program and community outreach efforts.
Our Peer Support Advocate Program is making a significant impact, handling nearly 100 calls per week from officers. Each team member, either active duty or a former officer, brings firsthand experience and empathy, often with disabling injuries themselves.
This unique perspective allows us to provide support that truly understands the challenges officers face daily, including PTSD/PTSI.
Together, we're fostering a culture of support and understanding within the law enforcement community. Learn more about how we're making a difference: https://thewoundedblue.org/services/

What a weekend in Chicago at NASCAR!
Thank you again to and for honoring The Wounded Blue with this special hood logo.
We will continue to raise awareness of our mission at every opportunity.
In the last five years alone, The Wounded Blues supported over 13,000 officers by connecting them with therapists, providing support animals, and even navigating the legal process of obtaining workers' compensation.
We are incredibly thankful to and for honoring The Wounded Blue with this special hood logo.
Awareness is critical.
Most people have a very difficult time grasping that when a police officer gets severely injured in the line of duty, that they may just be thrown away by their department or city and yet it is a reality.
We are here for those officers.

Every day, our law enforcement officers are doing extraordinary things in their communities.
These stories don't get nearly as much coverage as they should
Please share and like.
Here’s another example of the compassion and character of our officers.
Recently, officers responded to a call for service involving several young children who lost their mother, their only parent.
Our officers spent hours with the children helping them cope with the incredible trauma.
Officers rallied together and spent more than $600 of their own money to initially buy the five children new shoes – something the children said they desperately needed.
The help didn’t stop there. Officers and employees throughout the department stepped up.
We raised several thousands of dollars for the children and helped provide them with new clothing and other necessities.
We couldn't be prouder of our officers. Each day they meet and exceed our expectations with their commitment to our community.
