GREAT FUNDRAISER FOR Street Dogz , TONIGHT. The event was at EAT Downtown. We ❤️ Street Dogz. After dinner they all agreed to head to Courtyard to deliver an xl crate for Merlin the Macaw and check on all the doggies & kitties. 🐾😸🐕.

TODAY, MERLIN GETS HIS XL CAGE! Thanks to Street Dogz the dogs, cats, and birds at The Courtyard are taken care of. We've been working with Street Dogz since our walk through with Councilwoman Victoria Seaman office a few weeks ago to make some recommendations on this area for homeless pets. It's a wonderful resource and we hope to make it even better 😁 Stay tuned 🙏🐾🙂

A0570857 Beauty is a black and white colored, approximately 14 to 15-years-old, 40-pound, spayed female, Pitbull mix.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 07-08-2024 due to the fact they were moving and can’t take her.
Beauty is a friendly, calm girl here at the shelter. She was easy and well behaved during our walks. Our staff says she is such a sweet girl and that despite her age she still has lots of energy. She doesn’t react to the other dogs as she walks by their kennel. Showing no interest in them. The previous owner says she is house broken and has lived with children, dogs and cats. Beauty is ready to love the next family that gives her a new forever home.
The adoption fee is half off through Saturday July 13th and only $45.00 dollars.

BEST RESCUE UPDATE 🐾❤️🙌 Got the best update recently from one of the most memorable rescues I've done. Many years ago, I rescued a little white Maltese hit by a car and left for dead in the middle of the road. His name was Dino and it turned out he was not only alive but ended up with no broken bones or internal injuries. He taught me a very valuable lesson that day to never assume an animal is beyond help just because they look it.

Dino, in all his cuteness, was featured in a Hometown Hero video. ( https://youtu.be/xr-oOTr9DM4?si=SkAoQ87uVJdVvFyE ) I lost touch with Dino's owner about 5 years ago and hadn't gotten any updates, until last week. I was SO HAPPY to hear from Gabriel and hear that Dino was turning 14 years young. 🥳 🎉🎈🎊🎂

Rescue is hard and mentally, financially and physically draining. Getting updates from past rescues is the Greatest Gift you can give a rescuer. I cherish updates and I'm so grateful Dino and Gabe are doing well. 🥰🙌🐾💙🩵. Thought I'd share this wonderful update 😍🤩❤️ Please join me in Wishing Dino a Very Happy Birthday 💙❤️🩵

We have many litters of kittens waiting for foster families! Kitten season has hit us, and many local shelters hard. We are at max Cat-pacity!

Save a life! Open your heart and home to these lovable little kittens!

We get them vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and once our new location is open, we can take them there to adopt them out! We urgently need foster families!

If fostering is not pheasible for you right now and you still want to help us save cats and kittens, consider volunteering! Our new location should be opening fairly soon! We will need plenty of volunteers for our new location. We also have another location where we care for friendly and feral cats! We can always use a hand!
