Thanks to National Health Freedom Coalition, the State of Maine became the latest state to create the Right To Practice Complementary and Alternative Health Care Act which allows osteopathic manual practitioners to practice OMP without the need to join an association to obtain a license number.

Canadian osteopathic manual practitioner, Dr. Shawn Pourgol, president of the National University of Medical Sciences (USA, Spain, Panama) has created a charity based osteopathy hospital in Panama.
This osteopathy hospital, set to open in 2023 will offer all its services free of charge to the community.

Fraud Alert: London College of Osteopathy & Health Sciences

A manual osteopath forwarded to CRMO an email he received from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities when he reported this school for issuing a fake online Master of Science degree in osteopathy. The email indicates this online school is not authorized to issue a degree in Ontario:

We have been informed that the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities is investigating the London College of Osteopathy and Health Sciences, which is an online school in Ontario created by Rita Bergeman - Shpilt for issuing a Master of Science in Osteopathy degree when it is not authorized to do so under the local laws.
Practicing healthcare with a fake degree is considered fraud and the public should report such individual to the local authorities. There is no legal Master of Science in Osteopathy degree in Canada. It is a fake degree and anyone claiming to have this degree from London College of Osteopathy & Health Sciences is fraudulently practicing healthcare.
