Shine a Light is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to not only finding but also transforming the lives of homeless individuals in Clark County. Through the Las Vegas Safety Net, we offer an innovative continuity case management program, navigating individuals through existing resources to achieve long-term stability and housing. Our mission extends beyond immediate outreach—each p
🌸 Our wonderful WINGS girls recently enjoyed a beautiful sound bath and energy healing experience with our dear friend Desiree Vargas.
We are deeply committed to holistic healing practices that nurture the mind, body, and soul. We incorporate a variety of wellness techniques, from sound therapy to mindfulness exercises, to support emotional balance and resilience. By exploring these practices, we create a space for inner peace, personal growth, and healing, helping each person feel more connected and empowered. 🌱
🙏
On Saturday, October 12, our group of 20 volunteers doled out care kits and offered resources to those experiencing homelessness with Shine A Light Foundation!
Shine A Light is a non-profit homeless outreach and placement service that helps hundreds of homeless men, women and children in the greater Las Vegas area. Their primary focus is individuals who live in the underground flood channels of Las Vegas.
We’re so honored to have the opportunity to lend a helping hand to those in need of it. Thank you Shine a Light Foundation for having us!
Today some of our graduates took time out of their day to tell their stories of overcoming homelessness and their experience in our IPATH program. Sharing what their lives were like before and what hope and support have done to shape their lives today. Ruhi Cenet

Every week, we connect people to essential services—helping them stay safe, warm, and supported through the challenges they face. Grateful to be part of a community that shows up and makes a difference 🫶
This morning, a few members of our team not only had the privilege of accepting a generous charitable donation from our friends at Kiewit Corporation, we also had the opportunity to tour the impressive new I-15/Tropicana project!
Thank you, Kiewit, for your support and for showing us around such an impactful development! We are honored to work amongst so many dedicated individuals whose sole purpose is the betterment of our city.

🚨 No Gala, No Problem—But It’s Coming in April! 🚨
2024 has been a record-breaking year for Shine A Light! With incredible new partnerships—like the City of North Las Vegas and their homeless Street teams and the 8th District Judicial Drug Courts—we are seeing unprecedented growth in our programs and impact. 🙌
We’ve decided to move our Annual Gala to April 2025, but we still need your support right now! 🌟
Our programs, like WINGS, have achieved remarkable success:
✨ WINGS Stats:
✔️ 100% detox completion
✔️ 69 women completed 30 days of inpatient treatment
✔️ 74% secured employment
✔️ 89% retention of women still engaged in the program
And the North Las Vegas Project is showing incredible progress:
✔️ 60% of clients referred by the street team are actively engaged
✔️ 80% of clients opt into our IPATH program
✔️ 100% of those who opted in have enrolled in treatment
✔️ 67% have secured employment
On top of that, Shine A Light’s IPATH (Instant Placement with Access to Treatment and Housing) has connected 350+ individuals to life-changing services, with:
✔️ 68% still actively case-managed
✔️ 63% required detox services, and 80% completed detox
✔️ 92% were placed into transitional housing with outpatient therapy
✔️ YTD holding a 54% employment rate
We are grateful for this growth, but to continue this work into 2025, we need to raise $50,000-$60,000 by year’s end. The best part? Every dollar you donate will be matched by our board, doubling your impact! 💥

Here’s a recap of our Narcan at Night event! We had an incredible turnout, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to support this important cause…
Your presence and participation truly made a difference in raising awareness about the impact of opioid overdoses and the life-saving benefits of Narcan.
Together, we are helping to build a stronger, more informed community, and we couldn’t have done it without your commitment and enthusiasm. Thank you for making this event such a success!
We've had a few days to unpack our experiences with Narcan At Night and the feedback has been amazing. What struck me the most was when we were all gathered in the beginning and I asked who was alive today because of narcan and almost half of the 130 volunteers raised their hands. So many of our friends might not be here today if not for it.
This is the why.
