Through a partnership with the Aging and Disability Services Division of Nevada, CSD Learns is providing another year of free virtual ASL instruction for Nevada residents!



This program provides ASL instruction through a virtual setting and mentoring services for those working with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and communities. In this program, you can expect to:

Learn proficient ASL usage, including basic to advanced vocabulary, fingerspelling, storytelling, cultural idioms, and nuanced communication.
Master simple to complex sentence structures and gain deep cultural insights with our self-paced, flexible course.
Get weekly support from a Deaf Mentor
Register today for your spot in ASL 1, 2, 3, or 4. Session 1 begins on September 9th and continues through October 28th.

Notes: This is a D/HH and Disabilities Communities statewide Rally. This is not an event hosted by NVBDA or ANY ONE SPECIFIC organization. However, members and allies are encouraged to attend if interested in the North and South Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) buildings to show their support of the below initiatives.

PEACEFUL RALLY STATEMENT OF CONDUCT: This is a PEACEFUL event. No disorderly conduct will be condoned or tolerated by those of the Deaf and Disability Community nor the State. Keep in mind these efforts are to support the Disability Community and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community's initiatives to be acknowledged WITH respect to all parties involved. Therefore, attendees MUST present themselves as respectable to ensure the safety of all in attendance. The Capitol Police have been in contact with Community Representatives in the North and South attending the rallys at the Legislative Buildings. They have asked that the above notes be taken very seriously and understand the intent and initiatives below. They will be present as allies of the peace. Those attending in the South, the Capitol Police have stated that the South Legislative building is still under construction. Please be careful and respect the property and construction workers on duty.
