The Friends of Wildcats Softball (FOWS) is a nonprofit 501(c) whose mission is to financially and socially support the Libertyville High School softball program.
Thank you to everyone who helped out today with concessions, field work, and score keeping! This was such a great event and we are very appreciative of all the wonderful parents and kids!

Great day of Meet the Cats Camp! The LHS girls did awesome and the campers had a fun time! Thank you Suzanne B, Katrina, Tania, Eric, Jackie, Bryan and Suzanne P for stopping by and helping out!
Don’t forget, mandatory parent meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9th! We’ll bring some type of breakfast and coffee! See you then!
Hey everyone! We are getting so close to the end of the beef raffle sales.
Except, we will be extending the date to March 3rd so that we can sell the tickets at the “Meet the Cats Camp” at LHS so keep selling! You have 3 extra days!

The girls have got 6 more weeks and a long way to go to hit our goal so that we don’t have anymore fundraising to do for this year!

Hi everyone! Great FOWS meeting last night. Here are some highlights:
- Beef raffle is going well so far. 65 tickets sold and the girls have raised a little over $2,000. Lots more tickets to sell so please keep working towards the 20 tickets per player goal!
- We decided to hold off on the “Teslas, Toss, and Tacos” bags tournament in February. Just too much going on and if we raise enough with the beef raffle, we may only have to have 1 real fundraising event a year.
- still need a Treasurer for the Board to begin in January. This is a high need but not at all a demanding job. If you are interested, please let me know.
- House was approved for the Tennessee trip so, no motels for the girls! The house can sleep 22, has an indoor pool, a movie theatre and a hot tub. It will be great!
I will send out notes later this week. If you have friends whose daughters might be interested in playing next year, please encourage them to do so. Lots of opportunities to be part of something special.
