The LHS-VHHS Thundercats is a combined high school fencing team made up of students from the Libertyville and Vernon Hills High Schools. The team competes in the Great Lakes High School Fencing Conference. The team is open to all students who attend or are eligible to attend District 128 high schools. There are no tryouts for the team, so we encourage you to try us out by attending our Preseason Fencing “Camp” after school in October.

Thundercats had a great day the Ataba Fencing Club June Challenge in Hartland, WI. Four TCATS captains (current and alumni) & Coach St. George all competed.

Two podium slots for our Thundercats at the FCC Spring Open Mixed Foil event.

Alumni Connor Arata placed 1st and Sean Lane took 3rd. Congrats to Sean for earning his USA Fencing E24 rating.

Crimson blades off season fencing 6:45 - 8:15 pm Wednesdays starts tomorrow March 6. First timers are free. Fill out a waiver at front desk of Centre club Libertyville. $20 to drop in each sesssion.

Coach Dave and Coach Grant will both be there!

We also offer a four-day Summer Camp open to ages 8-18

Summer Camp 2019 will be held at Vernon Hills High School
