The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is hosting private support sessions July 25th to August 2nd to provide valuable information about the Family Support Waiver process to families with children on the DD Waitlist.

DDD is here to offer clarification and guidance on navigating the waiver application, understanding a waiver change, or answer any other questions families might have. They want to ensure families are equipped with the information they need to make informed decisions, apply for services, and care for their loved ones.

Families/parents/caregivers will need to register in advance. A link to the registration form can be found using the QR code or on the Division of Developmental Disabilities website. https://dhhs.ne.gov/Pages/Developmental-Disabilities.aspx

The registration form will ask families to provide your contact information, case details, and preferred time lot for a virtual session. These details will help us match each family with our Eligibility & Enrollment staff or Support Coordination staff. After their team receives the registration form, DHHS will email the families a link to a 1:1 session with the matched DHHS teammate(s). Each session will be scheduled for 30 minutes.

If you have any questions, please contact Kristen Smith, DDD Deputy Director of Policy and Quality Developmental Disabilities, at [email protected].
