Omani Students Association at UNL

Good afternoon, everyone.

As many of you know, the annual Omani Night was going to take place on March 14th, 2020.

As instructed by the University of Nebraska Lincoln, the Consulate of Oman, and the Student Involvement Department, and due to the safety and health concerns regarding the COVID-19, we unfortunately had to cancel this year’s Omani Night.

More details will be released regarding this matter.

بتوجيهات من الجامعة والملحقية الثقافية لقد تقرر إلغاء الليلة العمانية المقرر إقامتها غداً السبت، تاريخ ١٤/٣، وذلك تفادياً لانتشار فيروس كورونا وحفاظاً على سلامة الجميع.
وعليه نؤكد ضرورة الابتعاد عن التجمعات إلا للضرورة القصوى وضرورة اتباع سبل الوقاية الصحية من الفيروس.
داعين المولى عز وجل، أن يحفظ الجميع ويمدنا بالصحة والعافية، وان يقي الجميع، شر هذا الوباء.

Tickets will be sold at Nebraska Union starting from Monday, 25th of February

Tickets are first come first serve

إحتفلت جمعية الطلبة العمانيين في جامعة نبراسكا - لنكولن في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بالعيد الوطني الثامن و الاربعون المجيد بإقامة مسيرة الولاء و العرفان في الحرم الجامعي معبرين عن حبهم للوطن و لقائد الوطن المفدى حضرة صاحب الجلالة السلطان قابوس ابن سعيد حفظه الله و رعاه ، حيث تم توزيع الحلويات و الاعلام و الوشائح العمانية بالإضافة الى بعض المأكولات الشعبية و تعريف المجتمع الامريكي بسلطنة عمان و قائدها المفدى

The Omani Student Association at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln celebrated the Omani National Day by performing a walk in the university campus. The purpose of the walk was to make students learn about Oman. Moreover, OSA has distributed souvenirs, snacks, and sweets as a part of a cultural exchange

‎بِسْم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبهديه نستعين،

‎في بداية هذا الفصل قامت جمعية الطلبة العمانيين في جامعة نبراسكا - لينكولن بإعادة هيكلة إدارتها والذين قد إنتُخبوا ليكونوا على كفاءة تامة لتمثيل هذه الجمعية بناءاً على ما طرحوهُ من أفكار وخطط، و أعضاء الإدارة هُم كالآتي:

‎رئيس الجمعية: طه حسام اللواتي.
‎نائب رئيس الجمعية: مُزنة شكيل الزدجالية.
‎مسؤول المالية للجمعية: حسين حبيب اللواتي.
‎مسؤول العلاقات العامة والتنظيم: سالم مسلم بيت سعيد.

‎سائلين من المولى عز وجل أن يوفقهم لما فيه خير لهذه الجمعية ويقدّرهم لبذل مافي وسعهم؛ لتحقيق الغاية الاسمى والأُولى ألا وهي رفع إسم بلادنا الحبيبة عمان في جميع الأقطار.

At the beginning of this semester, the Omani students association at UNL re-elected its administrative officials who were voted in for their great ideas and plans for the Association. And they are as follows :

The President: Taha Al Lawati.

The Vice President: Muzna Alzadjali.

The Treasurer: Hussain Al Lawati.

Public relations and organization: Salim Bait Said.

We wish them all the best and ask God to give them the strength to perform their best and represent our country in the best way possible.
